Chapter 1: Prologue

Mirtul 1, 1375 DR

            An introduction to various characters.

Chapter 2: An invitation to dinner

The party is invited to dinner with Lavinia Vanderboren.

Chapter 3: The Blue Nixie

Mirtul 2, 1375 DR

The party uses deceit to board the Blue Nixie, where they find Soller Vark is smuggling exotic animals - among them, a rhagodessa.

Chapter 4: Lady Vanderboren's offer

The party accepts employment under the Vanderborens.

Chapter 5: The Vanderboren vault

Mirtul 3, 1375 DR

The party helps Lady Vanderboren access her family's vault, which is guarded by an iron cobra - and a riddle. The vault had been nearly emptied - by Vanthus Vanderboren! Still, there was enough to pay the party their promised fee.

When they return to Lavinia's estate, Reg leaves to care for Setoa, while the others meet Parant and Jabari. Syd, Gbele and Loupin go looking for the sign they'd seen in the vault and on a door in the Merchant district, finding the Seeker Lodge. The others retired to Jabari's apartment to chat and while away the hours til night.

Chapter 6: Peril under Parrot Island

That evening, Lavinia asked them to find her brother Vanthus, so that she could reconcile with him. Most of them go looking for Vanthus in the Azure district, while Lillia and Gbele try to track down the origin of the mug they found in Vanthus' room. They can't find "Grog's," as the mug reads, but they do find that Vanthus hung out with a small-time criminal turned artist named Brissa Santos.

Mirtul 4, 1375 DR

The next day, they pay a visit to Soller Vark in prison, and go looking for Brissa Santos, but neither lead leads anywhere.

Mirtul 5, 1375 DR

The day after, they meet at highsun to discuss their next steps at the Fifteen Horses and a Mule tavern, and meet Shefton Rosk, who says he knows where Vanthus is hiding. He takes the party to Parrot Island, under which they are soon trapped with the hungry dead - all but Loupin, who was too suspicious to enter. She went searching for information, and found a bit. The party escapes the tunnels, and Parant confirms that Vanthus was present.

Chapter 7: Death of a Sailor

When they return to the city, Talib learns that his father, the Harbormaster, has been murdered. The party goes to a tavern, where Talib gets very drunk, while Loupin, Syd and Baba Gbele find that someone has been looking for Loupin. Then the party visits Lavinia, before heading to Islaran Manor. Talib gets another shock when he learns that his brother Najib, rather than he himself, has been named Harbormaster after their father.

Loupin tells Najib that Talib is the rightful heir of the title of Harbormaster, against Talib's wishes. Najib seems shocked. The party searches the scene of Keltar's murder, finding a reptilian smell and the likely means of entry into the manor, but Parant lost the trail of the smell when it merged onto the city streets. The party returns to Jabari's apartment to discuss their findings, and decide to return to Parrot Island.

Chapter 8: Return to Parrot Island

Mirtul 6, 1375 DR

The party returns to the island only to find it overrun by the walking dead. It looks like several patrols of City Guardsmen were killed there.

They destroy the zombies, then venture below into the belly of the island once more, and find a terrible, insane creature has been directing the living dead: a huecuva. They don't investigate further after destroying it, but take all they find there, and discover a hidden smuggler's treasure trove, as well as the body of Penkus - who carries a deathnote telling any who find him to be revenged on Vanthus Vanderboren, who runs with the Lotus Dragons in their guildhall beneath the Taxidermist Guild.

Chapter 9: The Dragon and the Lotus

Mirtul 7-10, 1375 DR

The party sets about spying on the Taxidermist Guild from the outside, trying to see who goes in and out, and if Vanthus is among them. There doesn't appear to be enough shady traffic for a thieves' guild, though.

Mirtul 11, 1375 DR

Their surveillance does not go unnoticed. While walking home from a stakeout, Syd, Gbele and Tal'chkit are baited and ambushed. They drive off the thugs, and capture one, but let him go.

Mirtul 12-17, 1375 DR

They continue their surveillance. Parant and Jabari find secret ways into the Lotus Dragons' guild, under the Dead Dog Alley plaza. Tal'chkit loses interest in joining the party.

Mirtul 18, 1375 DR

The party launches an assault on the Lotus Dragon Guildhall through the false-front "boarded-up" buildings around the plaza at highsun, when the rats suggested to Jabari there would be least activity. They find it strangely unoccupied, but for a handful of sleeping thugs... and an enormous wild dog.

The party proceeds to destroy the guild, which is caught with its pants down.

Mirtul 19, 1375 DR

The party returns to Lavinia victorious.
